Mitchell Intermediate Orchestra - Mrs. Aguilar
Mrs. Aguilar - Orchestra

Welcome Mitchell students!  We are so excited to begin another great year in orchestra!
This year, we will be on Canvas.  We will be enrolling students into our Canvas course soon, and will post the link here as well.

About Me

I have a bachelor's degree in music education from Sam Houston State University, where I performed on violin and viola; I also took lessons on bass and cello to prepare for teaching in a classroom.  I was a member of the symphony orchestra as well as small ensembles and quartets.   I have performed in concert tours in Italy, Austria, China, and Puerto Rico and participated in music festivals in Holland and Germany.  I was one of four string students to represent my university at an event in New York City.  I taught beginner-advanced private string lessons for seven years for a middle school throughout high school and college before becoming a classroom teacher here at Mitchell.
